What are the import duties and taxes on shoes in Brazil?

Brazilian import duty on footwear ranges from 20% to 35% ad valorem, depending on NCM code. On top, IPI (industrialized products tax) adds 5-10%, and ICMS (state tax) varies by state, often 18%. Total can exceed 70%.

There is also a freight tax (AFRMM) and brokerage fees. To reduce risk, test with low MOQ: 10 pairs per color in-stock, 200 OEM, 500 ODM. Samples are credited against bulk.

Our Guangzhou factories produce fashion shoes suitable for Brazil. Read our MOQ guide or women's shoes.
