What are the import duties and taxes on shoes in Tanzania?

Tanzania import duty on shoes is 25%, plus 18% VAT and a 1.5% Railway Development Levy (RDL) on CIF. There is also a 0.3% inspection fee. Total can be around 45-50% of CIF.

You need a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) before shipment.
